Raid on Digistruct Peak Level 80 for OP1
I've made it through UVHM for the first time, and I'm level 80. Now, I'm trying to beat the RDP for Overpower level 1, but I can't even make it through the first three batches of Skags. The Rabid Skags get me every time, because I'm not able to kill them - even with a rocket launcher. I've managed to take out three or four, but it's always the Rabid Skag that gets me.

I've tried three times.

Does anyone want to go through the raid at level 80, or does anyone have advice on killing the rabid skags? I usually play at night on Pacific Time. My mic works to an extent, but I'm willing to play through chat. Either way.

what character generally save your action skill for the most troublesome enemies or I can help you through a couple of levels until you get the hang of it

Digistruct.
Firstly, normal elemental rules don't apply - any 'flesh' enemies you meet are not real - they are Digistructed entities and weak to corrosive / shock / explosive. Not incendiary, even though their health bars say that they are.
Corrosive rules on the Peak. Or incendiary does not help your cause.

The enemies spawn in waves, so it is better to take on enemies singly. Advance, see what spawns, deal with it.
Advance some more.
It really will not help your cause to run forward, causing multiple spawns all around you and then trying to deal with them. That is the only time you will find multiple rabids.
Go forward, see what has spawned - aw crap, a rabid. Back up a bit, make it come to you and deal with it. Back to the action and see what you have to deal with now.
Slowly does it, especially solo. You will have the opportunity of facing multiple nasty enemies later on in the levels.
Doing it solo, You decide the rules of engagement, and force the enemy to attack you when they do not have the advantage, rather than just running forward until there are lots of red dots on the minimap and then having to deal with them.

Digistruct rabids are annoying, quite true. The enemy you absolutely have to figure out and target first are the surveyors.
These [bleeps] heal anything on Digistruct. Not just loaders. They will also give any enemies shields if you let them. You can see the attached to a rabid skag for healing and another is supplying a shield to the skag. Not common, but it will happen if you ignore the surveyors there -#1 priority of Digistruct enemies.

Every run through will see a different mix of enemies. Spawns per run can be relatively benign, or downright nasty. You will find both.
But the first time through that you see the 'Congratulations, you have achieved...' and you have done so solo, the sense of achievement is special. It really is.

Digistruct Peak.
Best map in the game,
best music in the game,
More History is the best mission in the game.
Love the place.

That's actually helping.

I made it all the way to the steps underneath the bridge at the end, but I died to the two Super Badass Marauders. Those two were the only enemies left to kill before I could advance to the area preceding the final four bosses.
