I almost forgot - the low gravity. Any game that has reduced gravity means they intend for you to jump around constantly. It encourages exploring as well, cuz they hide stuff up on ledges.
ye but this is bl2 not the pre sequel

Even in BL2 the gravity is low, the Pre-Sequel just makes it even better.

I believe this might hve something to do with "Minecraft behavior".
With this i mean in minecraft when you sprint and jump, you are faster. Maybe people who do that think they are faster in borderlands too. :steammocking:
With my current mod setup B-Hopping makes u way faster than reg running.

First, of, you move 1% faster when you constantly jump, yes 1%, but for bl 1% is much.

Second, when you constantly jump, enemies lose track on you, they'll either disagro or stand in one place and look at you

It's scientifically proved that you move faster if you time your jumps perfectly
TrippedAndFell Nov 20, 2018 @ 9:44am
it makes you run faster

I just do it so that I'm not just mindlessly holding a single button while running somewhere.
It's a bit faster + i mostly do it because you can quickscope and shoot stuff mid-air without losing too much speed

I've always jumped since the game first came out. I mainly do it to stop the slight head bob. And i like being a dork that way

Jumping actually has more value than getting around slightly faster. In the Hall Of The Dead in Tiny Tina's for instance, jumping disrupts the Flaming Skulls tracking of you and buys you the time to end the nasty buggers. :FireFist:

Running and jumping is 1%faster than just running
