uniques not dropping anymore because of high level?

Hi!

i have a question here.

i'm actually level 75 and so far, no more unique of any kind of weapon drops for my anymore.

do i have to do the raid to digistruck peak to overpower myself to get loot to drop for me??

i'm kinda stuck.

Uhh... you mean Legendaries?

World drop legendaries are pretty rare. Most legendaries are a dedicated drop from some boss or other. The drop rate for bosses is about a 10% chance in most cases.

Drop rates in the game don't change based on your level. You just had an unlucky streak. It happens.

And finally, there's a lot more guns in the game than legendaries. Yes, legendaries can be good, they can be fun. They can also be junk. And some of those green/blue/purple guns (and other gear) can be quite good. Don't just ignore stuff because it isn't orange.

Pick stuff up and try it out. Frankly some of the best guns in the game are blue quest rewards. (The Pimpernel and the Sandhawk being the two most obvious examples).

Some unique blues (red text) only drop once. It depends on the ones you are after. There are a few that are in the world loot pool but not many, while others like the Assassin drops can be found every time you visit them. It just depends. If it is a mission reward as Nakos pointed out, you are out of luck getting them again in that playthrough.
For those two specific ones you can reset the whole of UVHM and do the early part of Scarlett's until you get fresh ones. It very much depends on your character and how useful they find the guns.

The game RNGods can be very stingy on occasion, dry patches will happen. All part of the game.

my peak strategy was do a peak run
go back to the torgue bar
do bar runs buy a dpuh
do another op run

keep farming the raid bosses especially Haderax the Invincible
level shouldnt have anything to do with drop rate

No ~ Unique drops have little or nothing to do with a player's Level and or RAID boss kills. In UVHM at 75, you "should be" dropping / locating as many useful Uniques as you'll find anywhere else in the game. They can as readily drop from lesser boss kills as they can be found in containers & bot from the machines, so just keep playing normally & eventually you're certain to score an improved "drop rate" on your desired Uniques ~ good luck PS Speaking purely from my personal experience, it seemed to me that one DLC dropped more best Uniques than at other locations in the game and that was during the main and side quests in "How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day" PPS Another DLC candidate for me for top Uniques was "Hammerlock" pretty much as far east and far west of Hunter's Grotto as you can get ... .

wait is he talking about Uniques like Lady Finger, Sandhawk and Twister (blue with red text) or Legendaries (gold)?
Didnt know Digistruct Peak is known for unique (blue) farming but more for Pearlescents

ah, sorry i should have added this to the topic.

i was...I AM, farming uniques, for the, well, uniques.

both blue, and leyendary unique weapons.

both for his uses and just because, but for a whole day no weapons, even green dropped for me, which scared me, but everything is back to normal.

Uniques are not the same as legendaries though

Well badasses and regular enemies dont have very high chances of dropping Legendary items
If you kill Terramorphous it always drops at least one Legendary class mod.
