Borderlands 2 Weapon Duplicating Fixed?

So here I am starting to play BL2, I played Solo last 2013 can do Weapon Duplicates, the Duel Trade Drop method is not Working anymore, So I Just want to be sure if the Wepon dups are now gone?

You can still duplicate weapons via other methods. I won't go into how that is done. Google is your friend. I do not condone it and neither do the forum regulars here.

Not to mention that the Steam rules clearly state to not even mention piracy. And I have seen them enforce that one rather adamantly.

You could be looking at a permanent community ban here.

It is still possible. If you are unable to drop the item during duel, try to equip-unequip it.

More to the point ... if you're just going to "dup" a weapon, then get the save editor. It's faster and more efficient.

Have you tried both?
You can't drop it if equipped, you have to un-equip it.
If you are NOT the host, you can also move away from any fast travel or New-U and drop everything you have, then press Alt and F4 together. Your game does not save the fact that you dropped the items, because you did not save, and the items are all laying in the host game for the host and anyone to get their greedy paws on. And, you also still have them.

You can also just use the save editor to create your very own. Or, in the save editor, the items you wanted to dupe, just right click it and select duplicate.... easy.

No, not only the host can dupe, but you can not drop equipped items in dual, you have to have it in backpack.
