I was doing the mission related to this group yesterday (UVHM, Gaige) and just when i killed the second enemy, i saw for an instant the Storm Front grenade, but it disappeared...so, since this enemies are rats, they stole it, now i dont know if i'm going to have luck again - i was collecting legendaries on the first try with Gaige (when rats grab something, it should be available once i killed them :/).

Bliss: Rat thieves and their ilk can and will do this. It is their entire reason for being:

They will swipe at you, causing you to drop cash. If you lose track of them or they kill you, you can indeed lose (forever) any money you've dropped or any gear that they've picked up.

They are simply one of the game's many and varied ways of providing challenge.
