The Moxxi one makes a good bit of sense, actually. And Tina does seem to get along well with Krieg.. So maybe he has no actual relationship with any character, but cares greatly for those three people in particular?
Those may be the people who were nice to him without snark, or fear, or other kinds of rejection.
Also they are variying degrees of crazy themselves, so that may have appealed to him.
Since he seems to have something akin to morals left (well, more than most psychos you meet), he may have attached himself to the vault hunters because they are more his 'friends' than anyone in his probably crappy life ever was.
