Hyperion and / or Maliwan are generally the best components to go for.
Or clone one multiple times in gibbed and try the different parts out for yourself. I think that generally they will not make that much of a difference in use, but if you are max level and want everything Perfect, then experiment.

If you are read-only farming and trying to identify shield components visually...

Have you watched Joltz's search for the 94% Sham? You will be faced with something similar for a 'perfect' Order.

If it's OP10, you will probably want to farm for a Maliwan capacitor for shock (or other) resistance.

The Gearbox forums are probably the best place to find a guide to identifying shield batteries, capacitors, etc.
