ive done that via nvidia control panel
it might still be running as im fairly certain the video settings of the game are broken.
unfortunately i cant do anything about that from in game settings since it already shows all the settings to low/off as ive set. even when ive defnitely seen it giving me brilliant shadows
Are you maybe on a power-save mode? Tried balanced/performance. A 1060 mobile should be more than capable of running this game on max settings.
ive been wondering if theres a way for me to actually verify these things, including what settings it actually changes when i try to tweak resolution etc.
as far as i know, the settings which I've done, are the ones showing up in GeForce Experience tab for the game. even there, it says that optimally i can be running this game on high/ultra. i tried that optimize option once, couldn't even get past the main menu when i started the game...XD
in Nvidia Control Panel, ive changed the gpu for borderlands2.exe to nvidia only instead of auto and left the rest of the video settings default.
ok i veried using windowed mode and task manager. the game is definitely using the nvidia gpu.
system is running on high performance mode.
but after that it will runs smooth
