as much as I like the Ogre, the main problem with it, is the slow fire rate that it has (unless boosted with a Torgue Allegiance Relic or specced into "Metal Storm", if playing as Axton), even if you get one that spawns with all Vladof parts.
I think the Ogre has a Fire Rate of around maybe 7.9 if spawned with Vladof parts, whereas the Shredifier has a fire rate that's closer to 16.0 (again, if it spawned with all Vladof parts)
the Ogre definitely has higher DPS output, no doubt about it. now if it had a Fire Rate of around 12.0 or slightly above that, then it'll be a real monster (probably on par with its Atlas counterpart from the first "Borderlands" game)
