Borderlands 2 - glitch in game, can't run very slow walking

Anybody having issues with Borderlands 2 where walking and running very slow?

Are you using the Fabled Tortoise shield, or have the Bane smg equipped?
Both of these will really slow you down.

The Tortoise is in the world loot pool, but has Blue in Caustic Caverns as a specific drop source. When you have it equipped you really are running in slow motion, and slower than normal walking speed.

Are you stuck in crouch mode/can you crouch sprint?
