What's most effective : Fastball or Skyrocket ?

My basic conclusion is Fastball is easier because it takes less time to learn to use effectively, but Skyrocket can do more damage once you learn to use it.

i like skyrocket, but at OP-levels it is lackluster as it scales with actual levels only.

The Skyrocket is the only item in the game that scales, but not in the OP levels.
The Fastball has the highest grenade damage in the game, but needs to be kept current. Different uses and areas when they are effective.

The Skyrocket gives a far superior light show. Wait for dark skies and throw a bunch of them into the air. See?

For Normal and TVHM, the SKyrocket is a lot easier to master than the Fastball. My aim is the reason why. Whreas Fastball requires precisison as it is a tossing 'nade the Skyrocket can be aimed 45deg from default aim position. -45 to -60deg from initial position. The grenade will bounce back up and as long as your are at least about 30m away from your target, you should be able to land a kill or multi-kill. It works best mid-range but don't expect much from long-range.

for me, the Fastball worked better. not to mention, I typically save it for a slow-moving big enemy (usually a Badass) as they won't be able to dodge it.

skyrocket sucks dont use it out of tvhm, where fastball is probably the best grenade in the entire game.

Uhm.... yeah, so... is the rocket too hard for you to use or were you not able to read what was written before?
The video shows a lvl 72 grenade still doing okish-damage, just a bit lower than his lvl 80 equipment...
"The skyrocket is so bad cause when it is 8 levels lower than the rest of my legendary++ equipment the damage is a bit too low".
