Mods not working with Community Mod Manager
I've tried several mods with the Community Mod Manager (from Nexus Mods) and they aren't working. (The mods I've tried are the Borderlands Community Patch, and Respawning Enemies and Allies).

I believe I've followed all of the instructions - I've added and checked the mod files in the Mod Manager, and used the Hextool to edit my executable file (since mods stopped working after updates in 2020). I made sure to check the "Offline" box when launching the game from the Mod Manager.

I also tried re-verifying the files in Steam, and reinstalling the game, and as far as I can tell, the mods aren't working, so help is appreciated.

Not sure, but I just manually installed the Community Patch by putting the text file in my game folder, and running the line command "exec patch.txt"

Did you put the patch in the binaries folder and execute it ingame?

Right, I did it this way and it works - I never had luck installing it with the community mod manager.

OpenBLCMM is JAVA free. And the command, for the UCP is: exec Patch.txt

with a big P.

I patched the exe with OpenBLCMM and it worked for me.

You can also just use PythonSDK with textmodloader.

To execute the BLCMM patch itself you need to hex edit your game , then you press the key that you bound to open the command console and type exec patchname.txt *the patch name will be whatever you named it when you edited the BLCMM file* if you don't understand watch a guide , it's easier if you can see it being explained.

if it is a pythonSDK mod you click the mod menu and turn it on , pythonsdk is new and much more user friendly so I recommend it , and like sokolov said you can still run BLCMM mods thru pythonSDK.

There is simple guide to install python sdk https://bl-sdk.github.io/ or a video guide https://youtu.be/57WxvASCX70
