It's not a plot hole since they address it directly in the third game.
At least as far as im concerned it all makes since as of now.
How do they address it? How do they explain the story being changed?
Unless they introduce time travel or some ♥♥♥♥ (Which would be lame) it will not make sense.

So Borderlands 3 will never be on Steam because people that likes good stories cannot point those inconsistencies? Well, maybe I know why they target EGS: because Fortnite kids skips cutscenes?
