Are the Borderlands games indie or triple A titles?
I'm curious because some people refer it as indie but it's made by 2K..

Well, it's not an Indie game, but I don't see it as tripleA game. More like, doubleA.

Gearbox currently has 350 employees. Fair to say they aren't "independant" anymore.

borderlands 2 was defenitely a triple A produviton, borderlands one was kinda indie but not really, same with pre seq made by a side arm of the main team somewhat

Borderlands 2 can be considered as a Double A like FailCur3 said or trippleA like other people said with difference...this trippleA doesn't have any microtransactions :P BA DUM TSSsssss (yea yeah i know its a bad and boring joke)

and this triple A is not unbelivable bugged and or rushed like other ♥♥♥♥♥♥ triple A games oh and it differs enough from other gtames not like ahving the same shooter or forball game every year in and out jist with a new packaging
