bombalbi: This sort of thing happens in some maps.
But wait....the Sham is the most important shield in the game? How so?
Both shields have their sporaidic use, but lead to bad habits that impede learning and skill development for new players.
This game offers many, many hours of enjoyment if you can get past the fun of shamfleeting, rocket jumping (two of the main uses for the Sham), and the use of other trope gear/glitching/exploits. Play as you wish and have fun, but don't fall into the trap of needing gear like this if you'd like to find a game with longevity.
Two places I can think of right off to never put anything on the floor are, Pierce Station and the lower level of the farm house in Tundra. At least in that basement I hear the stuff shows up on the ground outside of the farm house, but Pierce Station, poof, gone.
Bunker also likes to stand in the ''ready to fall'' phase forever, without having a health bar or dropping the items or die but fall... upwards
He will still drop the items while falling... upwards... but you will lose half of them because they wil drop off the edge
Sometimes he doesn't even go into the phase and instead do the same animation forever
Sadly, Physx is buggy, there are places where stuff does drop through the floor.
Pierce Station (the fast travel station in Sanctuary)
The Tundra Farmhouse
and Southpaw Steam and Power
Those are three of the worst spots, but it can happen anywhere.
Lucky. I've had terrible RNG with the Bunkr over the years. I've probably had four or five legendaries drop there after countless times farming it, and one was just recently - a level 24 Bit*h just found as I played Krieg.
Really? Hm...
I've had all sorts of crap drop from BNK-3R. I've even found a Pearl or two (in the red chest in the back as I recall). But I tend to farm him a lot, because Maya is my favorite character, and the Bitch is my favorite gun.
When I first hit 72, I got really lucky and picked up a Corrosive and a Shock version, and I've been trying to find higher level replacements ever since.
My luck is bad there for some reason. It's odd. I mainly farm it for cash, eridium, and better shotties, all at once. No exaggeration, I've found three Bit*h smgs from the Bunkr in my whole time in the game, and one was that level 24 just last week. I've gotten more from red chests and the LLMs for sure.
You are right about the red chest there though; I think that I may have pulled out better gear out of it, relatively speaking, than the Bunkr itself.
