Why is Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary so expensive?
This DLC is more expensive than the base game, and also more expensive than the season pass. Is it long, or adds many new content? Is it worth it?

Oh great reviving a dead topic because you are too lazy to see if it has been discussed to death. That's not annoying at all.

$19.99 = base game
$14.99 = DLC
$29.99 = Season Pass
So no it's not more expensive... On the other hand saying it's expensive in terms of worth is subjective, more on that later.

You can read what it adds to the game, but the most important thing is level cap, which puts it on par with UVHM upgrade packs and in fact gives it more value than them.

Worth is subjective, it depends on what you are looking for as a person, so you have to decide that for yourself.

Just wait for a sale if you are broke... <- This answers the entire thread and honestly demonstrates why this thread is a waste of time.

Sorry to annoy you. I don't live in the US, and here are the prices converted from my currency:

Base game = 9.24 $
Season Pass = 13.5 $
This DLC = 14.9 $

I checked howlongtobeat and it says around 3-6 hours.

If your region is too expensive then that's an issue you need to take out with the developers, they decide on the prices, and you can still wait for a sale, so it doesn't really matter either way.

If you play Borderlands just to beat lame missions then it makes me question why you would even complain about the DLC in the first place? Your perception of value is warped because it fundamentally dismisses what Borderlands is about. The obvious answer is that you aren't a Borderlands (or RPG) enthusiast, so better off playing something else entirely.

You don't like the price, don't buy it. No one here cares either way.

Regional prices differ. Here (UK) there is no sale on and the Commander Lilith DLC is priced at 50% higher than each of the other 4 DLC's, and less than the base game or season pass. It is newer I suppose. but the higher price could just due to 2K greed.
Look at the prices they want for the main game and season pass for BL3. A Lot higher than the BL2 equivalent.

The other questions. It adds a whole new class of gear to the game - Effervescent (rainbow) rarity. Some new useful legendary items. New enemies etc. Play length depends on each player and how they play. Like to farm for gear? Want to collect all the new rainbow gear? It will likely take you a while. There are also some great farming opportunities.
Then there are the 8 extra levels it adds to the game. The game cap was increased to 80, and the Lilith DLC adds these.
If you had any OP levels before, you will need this DLC to be able to use them again. Once you reach 80, any OP levels you had will become available again. Is it worth it? That is up to you to decide.

In all seriousness, the DLC is more expensive than the rest because it came out only last year, whereas the other DLCs came out only around a year or two after the game released.

Ah, I see. Guess I'm gonna wait until the price drops further. I was not a fan yet of BL2 when the DLC was given for free.

The price isn't going to drop, you have to do what I have already told you multiple times
Wait for a sale

Like I said this thread was over from the beginning

Yeah I mean when the sale percentage gets higher. Newer games usually have less than 50% sales, while older ones could have a 90% sale.
Renfrew Aug 27, 2020 @ 6:26am
It's already 66%, you're dreaming if you think they will go lower than that.

Not really... Look what says steam on the first page of discussions:

It was for free like a year ago. So sad you could not get it.
---GHOST Aug 27, 2020 @ 6:56am
Indeed the price is a bit high, compared to that 5$ for which you can buy the game, I bought it for 6$, but it was totally worth it! Thank God I had the money to buy all the dlcs and headhunters.

With this dlc you can reach level 80 and the best part is you can acces to the Digistruck peak where you can get 10 more levels.
Besides this I had the most fun raiding the Digistruck Peak in coop!

If you want the full experience and fun, you should buy it!

If you just want to try out the game dont buy the dlc.

This game rocks even after 8 years!

Shoulda got it when it was free :lunar2019coolpig:
