$19.99 = base game
$14.99 = DLC
$29.99 = Season Pass
So no it's not more expensive... On the other hand saying it's expensive in terms of worth is subjective, more on that later.
You can read what it adds to the game, but the most important thing is level cap, which puts it on par with UVHM upgrade packs and in fact gives it more value than them.
Worth is subjective, it depends on what you are looking for as a person, so you have to decide that for yourself.
Just wait for a sale if you are broke... <- This answers the entire thread and honestly demonstrates why this thread is a waste of time.
Base game = 9.24 $
Season Pass = 13.5 $
This DLC = 14.9 $
I checked howlongtobeat and it says around 3-6 hours.
If you play Borderlands just to beat lame missions then it makes me question why you would even complain about the DLC in the first place? Your perception of value is warped because it fundamentally dismisses what Borderlands is about. The obvious answer is that you aren't a Borderlands (or RPG) enthusiast, so better off playing something else entirely.
Look at the prices they want for the main game and season pass for BL3. A Lot higher than the BL2 equivalent.
The other questions. It adds a whole new class of gear to the game - Effervescent (rainbow) rarity. Some new useful legendary items. New enemies etc. Play length depends on each player and how they play. Like to farm for gear? Want to collect all the new rainbow gear? It will likely take you a while. There are also some great farming opportunities.
Then there are the 8 extra levels it adds to the game. The game cap was increased to 80, and the Lilith DLC adds these.
If you had any OP levels before, you will need this DLC to be able to use them again. Once you reach 80, any OP levels you had will become available again. Is it worth it? That is up to you to decide.
Like I said this thread was over from the beginning
Not really... Look what says steam on the first page of discussions:
"Searching is key! Before you post a question, use the forum search feature to determine whether your topic has already been covered."
With this dlc you can reach level 80 and the best part is you can acces to the Digistruck peak where you can get 10 more levels.
Besides this I had the most fun raiding the Digistruck Peak in coop!
If you want the full experience and fun, you should buy it!
If you just want to try out the game dont buy the dlc.
This game rocks even after 8 years!
