Orphan maker question?

Im farming for a rustlers orphan maker with a grip attachment but after 15+ tries of farming the quest turn in ive only got the Captain scarletts prefix,

Is it possible to get a prefix thats not the captain scarletts one from the message in a bottle (oasis) quest? If it isnt possible than how do i farm a rustlers one?

Absolutely it is, just boring old repition. Either put your game into read only or dashboard quit, no easy way to farm quest rewards I'm afraid

If you don't go the read-only save file route, and just accept the quest and then exit, it will be 'stuck' at whatever you were offered. No matter how many times you check, it will not change.
Anything with a Captain Scarlett's prefix is just the basic gun, no accessories.

it is possible, i just got it and is relativly quick if you just use the read only farming method, good luck future farmers.

Yeah don't accept the item just inspect if you're dashboard quitting, always inspect first. I do recommend read only farming over dashboard quitting
