On one hand, you have one cartridge for your gun that has a 10% chance to hit the target, on the other you have 2 - 7 rounds that each have a 10% chance to hit the target, what would your load-out be, one round?

There are no facts here folks so if those are what you're looking for you can move on. The OP needs to do a lot more homework on the game's construction because he's making silly and confused comments about important things like the mechanics of the Unreal Engine #3, statistical sampling sizes and weapons drop rates.
How conclusive do you think this data is exactly? You understand that your results are RNG-based, right? That you could have had 0 Bee Shields during all those tests? That it's luck?
I've had 2 Bee Shields drop by 2 treants in a row on my first attempt the other days. From this data, i can claim that:
Hunter Helquist: killed it during mission, 0 Be shield, 1 min, 0%
2 Treants : 2 Beeshields, 5 min, 200%
So Treants are more efficient, and that's a FACT.
a full run through the forest to kill all 7 treeants who drop the bee, you need around 5 minutes, witch would be around 43 sec per treeant! still slower than killing hellquest!
LOL, you compare my 300 kills hellquest/treeants with your 1 hellquest, 2 Treeants!!??
I hope you understand how RNG works, couse i do!!
Thats why i did 100 kills per run and not 1, couse so you can get a clear result of droprates!
