Got the Tunguska from opening up the 'train chest', is it any good?

Use it on unwanted guests. Leave some noob bait orange item on the ground at the perfect range. Fire tunguska and drop the weapon before the secondary projectile spawns. It will not be owned by you allowing it to damage teammates. Kick the party crasher instead of reviving.
This is the only use I have found for it.

Most people accidentally commit suicide their first time shooting it.

I believe it's statistically the game's most powerful gun but you're forced to wonder where you need something like it and the fact is it has very little usefulness in BL2 - but it is very expensive so if you're broke selling it gives a nice pop to your bank balance.

Not that strong, though - Tunguska have lower base damage than Nukem/Ahab.

Torgue - yes you can do Flakker/Tunguska exploit but people I've known who use it seemed to prefer Nukem or Ahab over Tunguska. Personally, the RL I usually held onto but mostly for FFYL was a Nukem or Badaboom - they were plenty powerful enough for my Maya and Zer0 without overdoing it. That's one of the gun types in TPS that we were talking about that was greatly improved over the BL2 RL's - there are a bunch of really useful Legendary RL's in TPS that were helpful for all six classes.

that's what I thought. I only asked this question, is because I was going by the secondary explosion that the Tunguska sets off (the one that puts players into FFYL).

yeah, I remember VynlicPumaGaming mentioning something about that on one of his YouTube videos, where he shows off the Nukem launcher from the Pre-Sequel.
