As an aside, it's not smart to use the Fast Travel system to go to the location of your first visit to a DLC ~~~ unless & until you're good & ready to start that DLC. In other words, don't go there just "for sightseeing."
The reason is that that first visit ~ even if it's only for just a few seconds before leavlng the DLC ~ marks & locks into the game's memory that you "started" the DLC at that level. Say you visit the Tina DLC's arrival docks for a few seconds just to have a look when you're at level 5 and you immediately leave the DLC not returning until you're level 35 ... . All loot will be level 5
Had it been your first visit to the DLC, all loot would be level 35
The "game rule" doesn't express this very clearly, so it's much better to know about it rather than "stumbling" upon it. The game rule reads only: "The level of the initial area is set when Unassuming Docks is first visited, but in Normal Mode will be between 30 at minimum up to 35 at maximum. It's expected that the player has finished the main Borderlands 2 story before visiting, though it's not required." Have fun (y)
