Slag infinity issues

why is it I'm getting shock element when pasting the unending infinity (Slag)? I literally have the code for the thing in the palm of my hands, why why why is it giving me shock?! BL2(hwAAAACKegCE5wRACiGT6cOAhYEQ4wHG/38KGBww/v8rxNiCgRHj)

But there is: it has the lowest chance to drop out of ALL the infinity pistols. Like 0.0000002.5 chance from any encounter like doc mercy or the golden golem. It doesn't make sense! I've seen the slag infinity before, I even have the code for it, but it defaults to shock.

You can find footage of a slag infinity in any top 10 borderlands 2 guns list, it is their favorite gun, it appears both in borderlands 2 footage, and footage of the presequel.

This was made in a simple editor called Gibbed save editor; this is the code used, so yes, there is a way to get a slag infinity. When *I* try the code however, I get a shock infinity: BL2(hwAAAACKegCE5wRACiGT6cOAhYEQ4wHG/38KGBww/v8rxNiCgRHj)

Since the guns are in the player's bank, I assume they took some measure to bypass sanity check.

Why? Why would they patch out the infinity slag? Thats removing content, and that pistol was badass! Its damage stacks so high, then they just remove it?!

The gun was never in the game, modders made the gun, not the game devs.

Pasted that code in, it clearly says "GD_Weap_Pistol.elemental.Pistol_Elemental_Shock". The save editor will not do a slag version. That was done in another way. There is no natural slag infinity. Just like there is not class mods mixed with the Antagonist shield.

That video basically shows that the maker has used something like CE to enable the slag Infinity. The fact that the bank also has Gee's launcher, The Error Message, that does not drop in the game, backs this up. Not Legit.
