Once the money goes in to the bank, who knows what dollar was who's? As long as you get the product, how can you complain? If Gearbox failed to deliver at all, that is theft.
I was beginning to think my work was not noticed, so, I like picking on SEGA as well. I pick on many of them, EA I will not put here, don't want to get banned, Macro$haft I will, but SAGA (sag-uh).
I am still mostly OK with Rearbox though. I just hope they don't do the pooch on Borderlands 3 and release an epic game that will take over my life, like Borderlands 2. I even enjoyed playing BATTLEBORNE with a grandson CO-OP, until I had tried to do single player and unable to get a server one time too many and stopped playing it.
Omg, Rearbox! That's a good one. Ahahaha. Yeah, I can pick on Gearbox, but I still play the sh*t outta the Borderlands games.
Battleborn looked alright, but I think Overwatch took any thunder it might have gotten. I think GBX had something to do with We Happy Few? That looked like a decent game, too. I watched someone on youtube play the first part. Take your joy!
For Borderlands 3, I just hope there isn't *too* many plot holes. Between the first game to Tales, they had enough plot holes to fill the Albert Hall. But after this financial disaster, I don't think BL3 is top priority of GBX. They need to focus on being able to pay their employees.
I liked Battlefield 1942. Since then it's been a slow downhill crash.
BATTLEBORN is a good game, but releasing around the time of Overwatch, suicide.
Gearbox published We Happy Few, this is why I was telling people that 2K may not be part of Borderlands 3.
The rumor mill has had them working on Borderlands 3 for years, I am not there so I do not know. It could be the thing that saves them. I hope something does, but that something could turn out to be 2K. Then I would wonder what 2K had to do with it all...... suspicious? Me?
As to the plot holes.... it's already Swiss Cheese, how would they seal that mess up? One of the down sides of Burch I guess, couldn't be bothered to learn the lore before impacting it, oh well. I got past it in Borderlands 2, so I guess as long as the game is epic other than that, some plot holes I can live with. But yes, consistent lore would be nice.
Never had it, Borderlands was my first.... well I had the Half-Life DLC/Expansion they did. I never bothered to know who the developers were on that, Borderlands 2 I decided I liked them. They gave us what we asked for, even after saying "It will break the game" they still added the third play-through to the game. WE scream MORE, we got more. They did the Community Day, the $100.00.00 loot hunt and I enjoyed those.
Borderlands 2 is still my favorite game, so for me they went uphill.
It was a singleplayer/multi/co-op for PC with modding and LAN available, massive game with tanks, infantry, ships, planes, etc. Was the GOTY in 2002.
BB looked like a good game. It also dropped some Borderlands 3 hints.(I always knew Tannis was evil, smh!) I was just never into the MMO genre. I play Team Fortress 2, but I mostly play with close friends or bots.
I think they're working on Borderlands 3, somehow. At least, I think they said so somewhere. I'd love to see some concept art, or something.
The plot? Its is swiss cheese, that was used for target practice. But at least the gameplay is fun.
BB has single player stuff and CO-OP, but it is, like some have requested for Borderlands 3, always online. I don't like that at all, for PvP fine, but I saw the message that there were no available servers when trying to play single player too many times. One day, there will be no BB, once the servers are shut down it's over. I used to play MMO racing games, after four being "sun set" (EA's way of saying Motor City Online was being shut down), I got tired of it.
Yes, game play trumps plot. Though good consistent plot/lore would be nice too. We shall see, we shall see.
Agreed.
I read the news today oh boy
Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall
I’d love to turn you on’
Huge Beatles fan.
YES! It's one of my favorite songs, on one of my favorite albums!

You know the Royal Albert Hall banned indefinitely the performance of that song at their venue?

Dear Prince Albert and friends
Thank you for the letter, we're glad you enjoyed the record -
feel free to keep it.
We won't be changing the lyrics, as we like them just the way they
are. And we won't be saying sorry because it takes to long to
get to Blackburn from our studio at Abby Road.
Your's sincerely
John Lennon
Haha, no, I never knew that. That's hilarious!
