Consol, Exec = Say?

every time i try to use the Exec command it says Exec in chat
i have looked up how to fix it but i dont understand what the people are saying
help

Are you trying to execute mods? First of all, for that command to work, you should "hex" your borderlands 2 exe file. Look for tutorials on YouTube or Google

ok so i did all that stuff and now i am trying to exec a mod that i got off the git hub
its a randomizer
i exec the community patch then i exec that and nothing happons
is there some text that is supposed to display after i exec a mod because neither of them did
and randomizer did not work

You need to execute the .txt file.

For example you'd need to enter "exec Patch.txt"
entering something like "exec Patch" would not work.

i was doing exec Patch.exec because i had created a version that was an exec but i have fixed it now
i needed to do one more thing in HxD

Quick question but are you opening the console or the chat. it kinda sounds like you are accidently opening the chat and not realizing it. If you did everything right and set the buton to tilde. then all you have to press is `. It should be the button to the left of your 1 key.
