Connecting Borderlands 2 with Steam and Epic games

so i recently claimed the Handsome collection from Epic games, my question is how can i connect Steam version with the one from Epic games, so i can play with my character from steam and being able to play the DLC from Epic games

If you are planning to add all of the Epic content to the Steam game - you can't.

You can have characters in both versions of the game, and the save files can be copied between them. You cannot fire up one version and play with the other versions content.

I see a bit of redundancy there, you can just transfer your saves from PC to Epic. I know it can drone the other way around.
