Dupe weapons using duel glitch is no longer possible?
I tried to do it yesterday with a friend but once the duel started, there wasn't any prompt to choose any equipment to wager. Is it happening just to me or the glitch has already been patched?

Man, I hope it's been patched. Duping is so lame.

Lol, you are not even doing it right.
Just use a save editor:

using a glitch in game is completely different than straight up using a cheat engine

now remove grog nozzle and the game is free

Cheating is cheating, no matter the method, stop with the mental gymnastics.

duping weapons using only the game is completely different from using a 3rd party source. you're the one doing mental gymnastics here.

Not so. Neither was intended by the developers. Both are cheating. You're the one doing mental gymnastics. Bella Karoli would be proud.
By your "reasoning", entering a house with a door that was inadverdantly left open is better than breaking into the same house through a window. Either way, you're not meant to be in there.

No it isn't, in both cases, you have acquired gear in a non-legitimate way, it's not that difficult to understand, it's that simple.

How was it not intended? It is a weapon coded to have....64% of damage done converted to healing. What was unintentional about that? They meant to code in a different number? Explain how they didn't mean for it to function as it was CODED. Duping is different it's some sort of glitch having to do with weapon ownership, character death and how duelling was done. Try to grasp the difference between the two, please. Save us all a couple pages of idiocy.

that answer shows why you cant even do a fun weapon for a fun quest without it getting abused

And nothing in any of your posts shows how the grog's stats were unintentional on the part of Gearbox. Try again, please. I'm eagerly awaiting your insights on this point.

Im only talking abou the abuse, not the gun itself.. But yes I think the dev didnt think that a little quest could make that big difference in gameplay and therefore didnt rework the ingame mission-system

The grog was 100% intended at one point it dropped from the gold golem. Is it "overpowered"? I disagree, you don't even need it, I can only see one point in the game where it is useful which is vs the most broken raid boss Voracidous (fighting broken with broken seems fair - even health gate builds exist purely because of Voracidous without it they wouldn't have even been popularised), who was nowhere near designed with OP levels in mind, making the fight near impossible to solo, a real chore on co-op, and leaving a sour taste in the mouths of those who went through the entirety of an already mediocre DLC.

I think you don't give the devs enough credit. This was not in the original game. The rubi had long been out and in use. I think they had a very good idea what would happen with the Grog. They're probably a bit smarter than you realize. They tested the game and all DLC inhouse and through alpha beta/testers. Think about it.
