DLC with the Best Repeatable Loot?
I just got the game with all the DLC packs.I am level 39 Maya. I was farming Pumpkin King for awhile and then end of Tiny Tina (Handsome Sorcerer) - Should I be running another boss/DLC for loot runs?

Uranus in Commander Lilith DLC has unrivalled loot drops.

If you bought the Handsome Collection, then you won't have the Commander Lilith DLC, it was released last year and the Handsome Collection states:
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/8133/Borderlands_The_Handsome_Collection/
Includes all available downloadable content for Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel as of December 31st, 2017.

Your best bet is farming the Snowman in Mercenary Day.

Anyway you are level 39, you don't need to farm. Farming is a bad idea, because you will overlevel by the time you reach UVHM. You want to be exactly level 50 when you start UVHM.

Thank you! I've got Lillith DLC but that is the only DLC I haven't played yet :)

yeah just farm that uranus :lunar2019laughingpig:
if you get tired of that you could also farm Haderax the chests that spawns after its killed also contain some interesting loot

I would say - stop farming, there is no point to it yet. Play the story, all side missions, all the DLCs and have fun there. Farming equip is done once you hit UVHM (the 3rd playthrough, all enemies scale to your level), and even there mostly just once you hit the level cap as otherwise you will be throwing them away soon.

Thanks for the input all! I finally hit Uranus but I can't get the Fire Control Alpha fast travel point to activate so it's not super easy to farm.

I realize most of my gear is just going to throw away soon but I just like the loot drop feeling and want to farm Uranus for a bit before finishing this last DLC

Sorry, forgot to respond to this. I understand where you are coming from but TBH, I have the Deluxe Edition of Borderlands 3 and might move onto that after my Lilith DLC plathrough. I just need to upgrade my weapons because I am level 41 now and most of my weapons are like level 35.

...which won't change.

Normal difficulty loot is capped at Lvl 30, Lvl 35 for Tina's and Cmdr. Lilitth (IIRC)

Time to move on - unless you want to go for Story completion, then BL3, ofc. Farming, however, is pretty useless, either way 'round.

Ok, makes sense now. Almost to the end of Lilith DLC and then will decide whether to start VHM for BL2 or move on BL3.

If you got BL2 and 3 - you might want to play ThePreSequel before BL3, and if you enjoy the story, watch the movies called Tales from the borderlands on youtube.

I actually own every piece of BL content now.

So, I beat BL1 and DLC years ago. Never played Pre Sequel but own it. Played a bit of Tales of BL a bit at launch. Never played pre-sequel. I just beat Lilith DLC on normal.

So... now what? Any recommendations? Pre-sequel? VHM on BL2? Start BL3?

And yes, I have gaming ADD ;)

you may think you're done with bl2.. :D:

you may have finished the story in nvhm. but you still have tvhm and uvhm to go through..

then.

the OP levels

with

every character class..

after you make me a sandwich.

(sandwich level is the critical almost impossible play through)

many true fans of bl2 will tell you each different level of play through, especially uvhm (ultimate vault hunter mode), and further on to OP levels is the "true" completion. they are definitely more of a challenge then normal vault hunter mode. the story/maps are the same, but require much more of the player.

opinion of course.

"better git on it"

all the best, stay safe.

Haha! Thanks for the details on BL2. TBH, I started tvhm and while it's fun, I am over leveled (44) and I just don't really care to play through the story.. over and over again. I may pick it up if BL3 doesn't jive but I need a bit of a break. I never beat any of the raids solo either but I am guessing the loot is meh.

the good thing about over leveling normal.. is that it's pretty easy to level out in tvhm. just rush the story and eventually the game will catch up to you. so long as you finish the warrior in tvhm at level 50-52 or earlier before you start into uvhm. you will be fine.

you will be over leveled for tvhm probably up till opportunity or so.. maybe a bit after. you will one shot everything as well, (boring i know) but at least at some point you will be even with the content. should be pretty fast.

for some.. it's a grind not worth the time, for the op seekers, a simple treadmill to the "endgame"

either way.. i would go pre sequel next.

gl.

i would still suggest playing TPS before playing BL3 - the story is still very good and it is normally more enjoyable if you do not get spoilered in a way not intended (well, TPS takes place before BL2 so certain things are kinda obvious - like jack turning out not to stay the same normal person as before).
