If I am not mistaken, you are talking about the Maliwan holographic sight, and sights have no effect on stats. The only part of a weapon that boosts a stat in a hidden way is a weapon's stock, but Rocket Launchers and Pistols don't have stocks.
Just FYI due to how elemental damage is calculated and scaled, elemental weapons are always better than their non-elemental counterparts, especially when you are using the best relic in the game, known as the Bone of the Ancients, which boosts one elemental damage type, in addition to giving your character action skill cooldown rate.
So overall, you want:
Grip: Vladof
Sight: Maliwan
Prefix: Vengeful (AKA Fire rate +)
The barrel is of course is fixed, as is the case with all red text guns.
P.S. you can check weapon parts here:

If you find a Vengeful Anarchist with a Vladof grip, the fire rate goes up to 13+. Apart from actually consuming ammo, an Anarchist is superior to the Infinity in every way. Waay higher DPS because the Infinity doesn't usually have many hits at all except at close range.
Indeed, for most characters and in most situations the Infinity is not the best possible weapon. However, literally no other pistol could come close to matching the 60% damage boost gained from 5 points of Zer0's 0ne sh0t 0ne kill skill. Seriously,+ 60% gun damage per shot??? at a massive fire rate? Not to mention using a legendary Sniper class mod, boosting it to +132% damage per shot. Two Fang also synergizes well with the infinity or DVA infinity effectively raising the fire rate further and therefore DPS, although not enough at level 11 (66% chance to fire twice) to justify using a killer mod instead. Tw0 fang is useful for infinity, but actually completely useless on an anarchist because Tw0 fang stops having an effect on guns with a fire rate higher than 10 on Xbox and its usefulness is limited on PC depending on frame rate. See https://borderlands.fandom.com/wiki/Tw0_Fang
Additionally, Infinity makes a great fallback weapon for Maya in multiplayer, allowing her to constantly heal a teammate trying to revive her utilizing the Restoration skill, which is boosted by a lot of class mods including the Nurse mod which is already a preferred mod in multiplayer for maya healers. The infinity also allows Maya to infinitely heal allies without consuming ammo, so that ammo can be expended on a damage dealing pistol. All of these synergies are well established, so people who say infinity is overrated or useless are seriously delusional. Infinity may be somewhat overrated as a damage dealing gun, but it is seriously powerful in a lot of ways given the right build or combat situation. As to the accuracy of the Infinity, it really becomes a lot less of a problem as you get better at using it. It's not supposed to be a long range weapon anyways. People who complain about its accuracy at mid and short range, well...
Git gud bro
To make the weapon even semi-viable you basically need to make an entire build dedicated to it, when any average gun especially a legendary is much more viable. I will agree though that it is useful on a healer Maya build in Co-op though.
Okay, granted making Infinity a viable primary damage source for Zer0 takes a dedicated build and a lot of tinkering. However, I personally love that aspect of Borderlands. I love tinkering with skill points and messing around with crazy builds like a Roughrider Melee Maya build, like how the heck would that work??? I found a way. It's not viable at higher levels, a lot of other gimmick builds aren't. But respecing only costs money, so it's literally completely free to respec as many times as you want. Yes, there are tried and true synergies like beehawking for damage and groging for heals. I don't care about those. Borderlands 2 has been out for 8 years. If I can do something new and crazy that you've never heard anyone do before, I call it a bigger win than soloing terramorphous or something else that literally everybody who's put enough time into the game can do. And if I end up with something I think is new that someone else actually already did? Awesome! I came up with something on my own that was good enough for someone else to talk about. If you don't like tinkering around, optimizing, or doing just plain weird ♥♥♥♥ in the game like I do, then that's totally fine as long as you enjoy it. For anyone else tho, anyone doesn't enjoy doing what everyone else is doing, getting the highest DPS combo, using or not using the grog or gunzerker because they're broken, beehawking, farming, etc. screw everybody else. Play the game the way you want to play it. If that means all you do is try to glitch through the map in every possible location, even if it's pointless, f*cking go for it. Whatever it looks like, play your way.
Dude, there is people who play backdraft maya for a living and you are saying that the infinite is dumb?
Like, on an InfiniGaige... (several possible ways to make that float), or on Hellborn Krieg (OK, basically all the same, but works really nice with Infinity), or Sal, who loves everything that spews out bullets by the truckload.... ...heck, even Axton can do good with the Infinity.
Zer0, however, is either precision or melee. Maybe a bladed Infinity?
...or to put it in an analogy: When you want to connect two pieces of wood, you can use a screwdriver and a screw to do so, you coud also use a hammer and a nail. It might even work to use the screwdriver to hammer the nail in, or to hammer in a screw, with decreasing efficiency. NITRO tries to screw the nail in...
actually pal, a Support Gunner Axton build with his "Metal Storm" skill maxed-out and buffed further with a good class mod (and that's on top of a perfect Sheriff's Badge), he'll be pumping out an impressive amount of damage if he can constantly keep those chain-kills going with that skill active
