Also, once you get to TVHM, you might want to really rush that, doing only the stotryline quests - so your Lvl-50-capped gear from TVHM will still be effective once you enter UVHM. But even there there's the workaround with the Golden Chest.
So, as first-timers, no hum. Enjoy the DLCs' storylines in easy mode, no shame in that.
Mmh we kinda wanted to give the new player the full BL2 experience (sidequests dlc and stuff), not rush it... maybe the best thing is using the save editor to reduce our level to 35 or something like that.
(Or make new lvl.30 characters, but we 'd like to keep skins/weapons)
end of problem.
Ok we'll disable Ultimate Vault Hunters Upgrade Pack, thanks for help
But overall it's a flaw in UVHM's design, they added it to the game, but didn't implement a way to get loot that is higher than level 50 in TVHM (other than the golden chest), but you could still level up past 50, and since enemies in UVHM scale to your level you will end up level 54+ with underlevelled gear, fighting level 54+ enemies, which is quite difficult. Those of us who play at OP levels, might not have as much issue, but that still doesn't excuse the flaw in UVHM's design, it should be balanced for anyone not just the hardcore players.
