^ That.

Just make sure you don't complete the quest. Also, I believe whatever level you acquire the quest grog it will also scale by your gear level (from 1 - OP8). As you're leveling in-game, you may need to unequip then re-equip, or map/zone out - if you want the grog to scale abreast. Otherwise, save and quit. Then continue.

It doesn't take long to get to the Mines of Avarice to initiate the side quest. Only challenging part (solo), I would think is the boss battle with the Ghost Kings prior to . Good luck!

If you want an actual leveled GN as part of your main inventory rather than as a mission weapon, add me and I can gib one (plz no hate) for you with any level & parts.

Hey there, if anyone still have a grog nozzle that isn't the mission item, hit me up, I would very much like to have one.

Gib= save editor.

You could get the grog as a unique item that could be dropped a few years ago but now everyone gibs them in for fun because it's a tad broken.

yeah I heard that the Golden Golem dropped it during the 2013 Loot Hunt, which I sadly missed (didn't start playing this game until late 2014/early 2015)

is it okay to have low lvl grog nozzle?
or is it better to have a high lvl grog?

Grog Nozzles are not used as guns, rather as healing tools and very effective slaggers. When you are holding a Grog, any damage you cause with grenades, DoT damage to enemies etc will heal you. The damage numbers are always very low, so it makes very little difference between low and higher level guns.

Ignore the gun damage numbers - they are irrelevant.

The Grog has no level since its a mission only item. It will scale with you, it does not matter at what level you are when you get it.

Like I said, and A__R explained some more, the level of the Grog is not relevant. The damage numbers are not relevant.

*** It is not a gun for causing damage. ***

Use it for slagging and use it for healing. It converts 65% of any damage you cause with grenades etc directly to healing, which is why Sal is pretty much unkillable when he has one in the off hand and a DPUH in the right.

So yes, get one at OP1. It will last you all the way to OP8. Then do an UVHM reset and do an OP8 playthrough for some hardcore fun.

If anyone's got one I'd be happy to dupe one just as long as it's not higher than 50. Don't care if it's gibbed or not.
