Carnage vs Swordsplosion

i know theyre both torgue, both shotguns, both explodsive, which one do i go for?

im in UVHM btw

Never seen a Carnage, but the swordy is one of the best guns in the game. Both my Axton and Zer0 make heavy use of it. It's surprisingly accurate and effective at medium and medium-long ranges, too. Must be "casual" and 9 mag, otherwise don't bother. It stuns skeleton mages!

Your choice, different costs and benefits, both are great guns and I use them both. At OP8 with the "Casual" prefix, "basically" (everything else held equal) the choice boils down to >

SWORDSPLOSION gives +/- 1 million x 3 per shot with +500% Weapon Damage
-versus-
Carnage gives +/- 2 million x 3 per shot with +1000% Weapon Damage

I have both casual versions (the best version) and swordsplosion is the better shotgun; it's damage is still more than the carnage.

I would go for swordsplosion because it's a gun that shoots swords that explode into more swords and if that's not something you want in your life i pity the life you lead
