I'm almost certain most of this is intentional on their part, or even more likely, they simply don't care. Of course Borderlands 3 is working perfectly..."Hey, since BL2 and TPS are down, why don't you guys all go buy BL3 and play that instead?" *2K rubs hands together greedily*
i know its annoying for a dev to break older games but its really not suprising with the types of backlash they got with BL3 being temp exclusive. i agree tho i feel this may be deliberate to push us to getting 3.
If you want to play with a friend both should apply the downgrade and everything should work ok.
Let me know if you do it.
