Stuck looping in offline mode, cant use multiplayer

Myself and three other people I know are having this issue, cant get past the title screen and when you try and change from "offline", it gets stuck loading "updating session" over and over, and you cant leave past that without quitting the game entirely. Any fix for this? Or is this part of the cost of them making BL3?

i heard the issue is caused by cross play being enabled, even though i have it disabled so that cant be the case.

i tried going offline mode and back online in steam and nothing works.

Just copy/paste for replacing the files and it works like you have never the update before febuary 2020, but disable the auto-update first.

yep same here, plus my game now stutters each 5 or 6 seconds cause maybe it's tryting to reconnect or something (it didn't use to do this one day ago)
