Perfectly peaceful quest, Spiderants ???

Is this a quest bug ? It would make much more sense if instead of Spiderants one would have to optionally kill varkids. Spiderants are nowhere to be found in the hole under sanctuary.

There are spiderants in the caustic caverns - somewhere towards the end of the area.

spiderants are spiderants. just go to where there's a lot of them. the Dust comes to mind...

Caustic Caverns near the end of the trek around the building, or if you did the minecart pushing go through the building and open the door near the end and surprise! Ane entire section of spiderants!

Strange, pushed the cart and all I would find was Varkids. I finished the quest without ever encountering spiderants.

not to mention, you come back to this very same area after accepting a side-quest in Sawtooth Cauldron where you collect some map pieces from killing bandits, which leads you back down to the Caustic Caverns.
