This was a comment made by a fan over the down voting of Borderlands 2 and Randy Pitchford's little outburst as the CEO of Gearbox he should of known better than to act like this and all it has done has left a bad taste in my mouth supporting Gearbox or 2K from here on out. More or less Randy more or less crying over the misuse of the review system and the down voting that has been going on

His quote "Makes me Kind of happy about 2k's decision and makes me want to reconsider Gearbox Publishing's current posture on the platform" So a fan responded

"This would not have happened if there wasn't an exclusivity deal. You, 2K, or whoever is responsible brought it upon themselves, and it is their fault for everyone being♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥off."

And Randy Pitchford freak out moment “I wouldn’t hit you if you didn’t deserve it. It’s your fault I am hitting you.” WTF is wrong with you and this victim blaming ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t. Kindly ♥♥♥♥ off, troll."

He represents a company and more or less threatens steam users with a boycott and it speaks bounds about Gearbox and him as a whole and I might be one of a few but Gearbox won't get a single thing off me from here on out

sorry but you have no right to tell people to shut up and like it. i will hate epic and never use them and anything online i find that shows what a crap company they are i am going to post and share as much as I like. and voting with your wallet does matter because when epic has to make up for each lost sale to 2k per their buyout that covers the publishers loses, it is going to hurt epic financially. so voting with your wallet in the long term will help when epic keeps losing money.

I'm honestly more interested in the Tim Sweeney tweet a few posts below the one OP posted. He was trying to convince people and they just weren't having it, despite him openly discussing a bunch of things. It really stands to question are gamers just cry babies, or are the CEO's a bunch of liars? We won't really ever know the true answer, but this is a battle that will have no winner.

I mean as much as i dislike the situation of the game being on EGS the guy still doesn't deserve to have 100's or thousands of people bombarding him for a decision he probably ultimately had no say in anyways. People should be happy we're atleast getting a borderlands 3 and that it's coming to steam at all. I blame steam for all this exclusive stuff happening for as long as it has been now. It's obvious epic isn't going to stop playing the game , so the ball is in steams court to do something and they don't seam interested.

Can't blame him, looking at the immaturity of the players that posted on this forum in the last 5 days.

Makes me wonder if the playerbase posting on this forum, average is 12 years old or less.

I wish he can take the steam id of everyone raging with Gearbox for no reason (It's 2k not Gearbox that take the decision on where to publish the game) and when BL3 goes live i ban all those id's from purchasing it.

Pitchford has been dealing with a huge (and apparently unexpected) backlash from the decision to make BL3 an Epic Games exclusive. He's got all kinds of "fans" screaming at him over his twitter feed. (The fact that the backlash is unexpected is on him (and 2K, and Sweeney), but still, I think he was blindsided by it to some extent).

Randy ALWAYS acts like a ♥♥♥♥ if people ask critical questions or point out he's wrong, no matter how tactful they do it.
Trying to have a civil discussion with him is impossible if you have ANY criticism, no matter how gently put or how well-explained; in that respect he's a bit like the male Jessica Price.
Hell, he goes off on tirades even when he isn't being blitzed by angry fans and trolls, so let's not pretend this is any different than how he normally acts, Mmkay ?

Besides, how he was 'blindsided' by this is a claptrapping mystery;
Every single exclusive game thus far has met MAJOR backlash, if he managed to miss that he's blind, retarded, or both.
When he announced his love for the Epic store in December, people gave him ♥♥♥♥ about it.
When Pax was coming up, people kept telling him exclusivity would be a bad idea, he acted as if he didn't get it (and knowing how Randy, he was probably busy snorting blow off a ladyboy's ass while checking his twitter, so he was probably genuine in not understanding it...).
Then when they actually announced it he immediately tried to shift the blame off onto 2K, when even Jason Schreier remarked he had his doubts about that.

Plus, now that he's getting all defensive in this way, it really makes him look as if he was in on it all along, and he is (once again) outraged that those damned consumers would dare question him, and aren't willing to just blindly follow his dumb ass on this.
Plus, there's the rumors that Randy actually initiated this whole deal, so....

As someone who was looking forward to this game, and who doesn't feel like being treated like a second rate customer just for being unwilling (and unable) to use the Epic store, I have no sympathy for him, and as someone who remembers the ACM debacle, I have absolutely no love left for Randy Bitchford.
I'll vote with my wallet by waiting for a GOTY for BL3 to go on sale, IF I even remember to buy it when that time comes, that is.
In the meantime, I'll wait for Doom : Eternal.
