Borderlands 2 Ultra HD pack trouble

Can anyone help me figure this out? I downloaded the Ultra HD pack for borderlands 2 and for some reason it says 7.9 gigabytes out of 7.9 gigabytes downloaded so it should be finished, but it just wont install for some reason. Every time I try to resume the download, it just says it will take a random amount of time to finish downloading, but the time doesnt ever go down and its not actually downloading anything.

If anyone else has had any similar issues or knows how to fix it, please let me know

Having some pretty annoying issues with this myself, even after downloading that 7gb update it doesn't work.

My only conclusion is something borked with the old version of 'ultra HD'(pre-dates 2014)
and this new version they supposedly just released (altho they overwrite each other)

I don't own the GOTY/Handsomejack Collection but rather just vanilla BL2 with some DLC, neither the new or old 'ultra HD texture packs' work currently now.

So I really don't know either :\

I just bought the GOTY and the discounted Handsome Jack collection. I already had borderlands 2 downloaded before though. Maybe that has something to do with it? I honestly have no idea. Two of my roommates did not have borderlands 2, they got the handsome collection and they downloaded the UHD pack just fine but mine wont. Is it possible that there isnt enough space on that harddrive for it to install? and If its that, why wouldnt it tell me that before I tried to download it?

I can only assume at this point the old version of 'ultra HD texture pack' already in older owners of the games DLC library is causing conflicts with this new 'ultra HD texture pack'

All I know is neither are working for my "vanilla" version of the game now and it looks like ass :\

Check your DLC list from ur Library. See if you have an 'ultra HD texture pack' that says a date much older than 2019.

Uncheck that, and see if you can add the new one from store page?

(doing that is what caused me to download another 7gb update. All it did was install the old one from 2014, tho it is not working in-game despite saying 'installed' so neither new or old work now)

Same problems here. It seems this texture pack is problematic. I would wait until it gets patched.

I have it on good authority that it is a minor upgrade at best.

I have a texture pack from 2016 but I downloaded it (or tried to anyway) yesterday?? Im very confused haha

I'm trying to make sense of what's going on between these old/new 'HD texture packs' aswell lol, pretty sure this new pack is bugged out by the old now tho.

We may need to just wait for a fix.

I finally figured it out. My drive that had BL2 on it was almost full and thats why it wouldnt finish the download. I moved all the files to a drive with more space and then the UHD pack finally installed

I don't notice a difference, but then again I don't have a 4K monitor. Mine is 2560x1440 and with the Ultra HD textures pack, the highest video setting allowed is 2560x1440. If I had a 4K monitor, I don't know if the game software is "smart" and would allow for that resolution to be selectable. Can anyone confirm?

I agree; I have all the Borderlands games and Borderlands 1 and Borderlands The Pre-sequel are HUGE DIFFERENCES vs. Borderlands 2 which doesn't look any different at all on my machine running 1440p besides the new logos in the beginning.

So much nonsense.
I only have one "Ultra HD Texture Pack" shown and no other texture pack. It shows as "Bought 02.01.2013", same by "Commander Lillith & the Fight for Sanctuary".
So the Date has no issue with that. Also my Borderlands 2 is freshly downloaded. All works fine but I have the same issue like User "StoubleDuf". It is by 7.8 GB of 7.8 GB and want to download everytime again. The Downloadrate is low as hell and the time it would tike increase until the downlod stops and set it self to a later moment, to repeat the same again.
