Co-op Problems with UHD Texture Pack?

This update is reported to be breaking co-op with players who does not have it.

I recently bought the game. Can anyone advise whether use if or not for the time being?

as far as i know, the Co-op problems are not UHD Texture Pack related.
the Co-op problems are caused by the fact that only Windows users got a game Update and those with Mac or Linux haven't gotten one yet.

My boyfriend installed the update but it doesn't work on my computer so he tried uninstalling the update and now it wont let us play together at all. Not really sure why that texture pack update had to break the coop for borderlands.

This update is giving me "Update Cancelled" error after 7 GB download. It appears it has problems now.

You may want to wait for a bit before installing. It doesn't improve the game noticeably anyway.

Aspyr said there working on a 4k pack for the platforms but no ETA.
