Why does Borderlands 2 not have any DLC on the Android platform?
Was Gearbox just lazy?

Was Android a very important gaming platform when the game was developed?

Neither of these comments are relevant.
It's still in question why they'd release an unfinished product on a platform. If either of you don't know the answer, no reason to comment.

Why not actually ask them yourself then? You know, on the Gearbox forums. Or is that not a relevant answer either, because it would mean you actually have to do something, like find their forums. So hard.

Maybe most android devices can't handle the DLC?
Elifiknow, why not ask Gearbox?

Gearbox ignores it. Figured someone in forums might have an idea but then again with everyone heated over the BL3 situation it's bad timing for serious comments.

It's not available on Just android devices. Only Nvidia Shield. To my knowledge it's never been tested.
And they have SHiFT support along with the chest, but no codes.

I own BL on all platforms. Added it to the Shield recently only to find out Gearbox was lazy. Kinda sad.

Nvidia Shield.
Not a standard android device but still android platform with games licensed for it only through the GPStore. Half Life 2.. Portal.. Metal Gear.. etc.

No. They have little do with it. This AAA title like most others for PC/Mac requires a more powerful and robust processor than Android can support ~ Android was built by Google to support their mobile phones & tablets. Google's more powerful laptop series called Chromebooks as an example require the same Intel or AMD processors used by all PC/Mac gamers.

The game you played on Nvidia Shield isn't the same as the Steam versions for PC/Mac. Have you played it on your Shield or your watch? Then you already know it's a "mini~game" (meaning a rewritten / abridged) version of the game and the DLC content is unavailable.

No need to be a ♥♥♥♥ now Zoot. Now go sit in the corner and come back when you're feeling better.

If the vanilla game was on the platform I see little to no reason why the DLC isn't there. The lack of SHiFT is another example of laziness. It's been asked in gearbox forums years ago but no Actual reason from what I can see. Literally the whole game is playable vanilla just has no dlc or microtransactions, nothing. No skin packs. No expansions.

I think 2K Australia was responsible for the ports and that might be a big reason but I was just curious if anyone in the forums knew for sure.
Maybe they were clueless on how to even add DLC to the GPStore.
Could've just released it as "GOTY" including everything and make skins in-game microtransactions. But I guess they don't like money? jk that's why they're going to Epic
