Report a translation problem
1. thoughtlocked enemies are counted as special ally/enemy flags, which means they still take normal damage, but the programmers never inteded for added amp damage, etc to apply to them-- despite them being able to take normal damage. you can't really fix it, sorry.
Personally, I'm not too fond of Thoughtlock. While I tend to invest heavily in Motion, I usually stop at Quicken (or perhaps Sub-Sequence, depending).
I'm not exactly clear on who you're trying to shoot and at what point in the thoughtlock sequence you're trying to shoot them though, so when you say an Amp shield isn't working, it's not really clear to me what you mean.
I'm a fan of sub-sequence but if I take life-tap grog nozzle (and other life sources) become much less important. Plus with scorn, ruin, and converge I can easily slag everything. That said, i'm running the community patch so scorn has a 10 second recharge instead of 18.
