Earl sells inventory and bank expansions (up to 33 or 36 on both, I believe) at the Black Market for eridium.

You can get storage deck upgrades from Crazy Earl using eridium. Look at what you have, sell off all the stuff you no longer use.

You could also create Mules (characters you get to Sanctuary for storage) and pass the gear to them through the stash for use on new characters as they level to the items (for those special things that are nice to have).

Gear becomes obsolete quite rapidly as you level. You're meant to use it, and then ... when it's no longer useful, you're meant to let it go.

You can expand your Inventory (backpack) to 39 slots total, and your bank to 24 slots (I think I'm recalling the bank correctly there). Expansions are purchased from Earl's Black Market. They're progressively more expensive.

If you find some things you really want to save, then I suggest moving them to a mule (storage character) via Claptrap's Stash, once they're no longer useful.

But learning to let things go is important.

Also, don't blast through all those golden keys all at once. Save them for when you encounter a dry spell in drops. The loot from the Golden Chest isn't THAT good, it's just meant to tide you over until you can get drops by playing.

Yeah Nakos is right

You shouldn't be hoarding gear while you are still leveling up

If you don't use it sell it

Keep your 4 gun slots occupied with the guns you DO use and make sure you have a variety

people have already explained how to get more bag space but as far as loot goes: if its white, probably ignore it, greens are decent at low levels, blues are mostly quest rewards and should be used as long as possible (not all blues are good though), purples are going to be your best friends until you get some orange gear which even some orange items aren't going to be good for certain builds (also some just aren't that good). and sell stuff when you out-level it or put it in the stash to give to another character. if you have time to spare get some shift codes and spend the keys, they are best used in the earlier levels (15+ or sooner if you have the keys to spare). long post over :)

Thx , i know the difference between green and purple/orange and i also have like 68 gold keys left , the problem that i have is that many guns straight up suck like the dmg output is very low and that’s why i keep a lot of them , to test them bc it’s not like im playing csgo or any other familiar game to know the guns and to know what is useful and what isn’t ! Hope people understand what im trying to say bc i can speak and write english im not really good at explaining things ...

Particularly whe levelling the first two playthroughs, you can get lots of use out of both green and white gear. Taking the simple-minded approach of sorting by color will almost always see you short of gear, with stale gear, or with blue and better gear that doesnt work very well. There are good reasons why stats are on the weapon cards and skilltrees boost certain attacks, elements or weapon types. This game is a bit deeper than "I like this end of the rainbow." To do well at it, you must pay attention to more things at once than CULURRR.

The simple way to find out if a particular gun is worthwhile is to try it out on some enemies. If it is effective, keep. If not, sell.
OK, it is a bit more complex than that, especially when it comes to elemental weapons but the principle is the same.
Also, have a look at some weapon that you thought looked interesting so picked up - how long have you been carrying it around and not used it yet?

Try them out, then keep or sell.
