This information can also be found at IGN, Game Informer, DSoG, Destructoid, Rock Paper Shotgun, PC Gamer, Eurogamer, and several other game news sites.

So, for PC users, 2 separate downloads. One for BL2, one for TPS. I haven't seen anything at all, outside of forum speculators, about needing to own all the tiny DLC packs as a prerequisite, or any DLC for that matter. We'll see on Wednesday.

If it turns out, as I suspect, that you only need the base games... then 2K and Gearbox just made a lot of money from people buying every single DLC (myself included). At least it was cheap.

back in the day i bought BL2 GOTY + the headhunters dlcs and BL TPS with all dlcs. Just because i don't have all the BL2 skins (only content i'm missing) i won't get the remaster update? This sucks big. :steambored:

If you buy the Handsome Collection on Steam, Steam discounts everything you already own. I just purchased the HC for <$10, because all I was missing was the skins, Headhunter missions, and TPS +DLC.

Your purchase should be for pennies.

Don't buy if you only miss a couple of useless skin, just wait, the discount end on April 10 so after the HD pack release. Just wait and see if you'll get it or not

But if you do that what if you don't get it for free? Gearbox are being ♥♥♥♥♥. Whether we all get it free without collection or not they are still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Why?

Well
1: Maybe you need all DLC, games, skins, etc.
2: or maybe you don't

Then add a sale to the mix. This means if you wait you might have to pay more money. Or.... it stays free permanently for all sales.

Thus by hiding info they make more money due to consumer doubt. Also possible devs are just ignorant.

It was only $3.50 for me because I was just missing some skins. I don't see why anyone wouldn't get it.

Watch the trailer. It makes the game look MUCH better. Also, you get it for BL2, and BL:TPS. BL1 remastered has different requirements.

Didn't look that special to me. Though I play using reshade and max settings so idk....

According to PCGamer except 4k textures there going to be other improvements.
„The pack won't just include textures, though—it'll add some extra graphical touches, like higher resolution dynamic shadows, improved Screen Space Ambient Occlusion, and better anti-aliasing.“ And they’ve remastered geometry on the environment, characters and weapons.

if you're only missing the skins THEHANDSOME COLLECTION will be super cheap for you with the sale going on.

im pretty sure this is false info, places like gamespot are reporting a single download for the handsome collection with 2 separate downloads for borderlands 2 and the pre sequel, it seems pretty unfair and stupid to force ppl to buy a few skins just for a free update. i know i wont.

but of course this info seems hard to get 100% facts for lol so im not saying your wrong either.
they could be a it clearer with this update.

EDIT: also at the 28 second mark it does not say platform specific, but gamespot says its for the handsome collection on PS4 XBOX 1 so maybe thats all its saying in the trailer
