edit : you are in UVHM, right ? you're slagging everything first ?
There are two Ultimate Vault Hunters Upgrade Packs. The first one raises level cap to 61 and adds new weapons. The second one raises level cap to 72, adds even more gear and includes a new location where you can gain Overpower Levels.
The GOTY edition includes UVH Upgrade Pack 1 and does not includes UVH Upgrade Pack 2.
Edit: same for the Season Pass.

Back to topic: as previous statements said, go to UVHM. Only there would be droping guns with lvl 50+
The Season one pass? Hmm.. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but that's kind of supersceeded by the GOTY version of the game. Even if you already own the base game, the GOTY version is still a better purchase than the Season One pass (which really should be retired from the story, but we don't have any control over that). That's why it gets so many negative views, not because the CONTENT is bad, but because the bundle is bad.
The Season pass boosts the level cap to 61 and gives you the 4 big story DLCs.
The GOTY version also boosts the level cap to 61 and gives you the 4 big story DLCs.
But in addition, the GOTY version gives you Gaige and Krieg, the Creature Slaughter Dome and the Collector's Edition Pack.
If you can refund the Season pass and get the GOTY verison instead, I'd advise it.
However, if you can't the 4 big story DLCs are all still great. There's some big Steam sales coming up, and when those DO come up, look at the Handsome Collection. The Handsome Collection will let you upgrade your existing stuff, (and that bundle won't charge you for things you already own) and it will give you all the content you missed from the GOTY version.
