Now it is me, or is the Pandemic Grenade super-OP????

While it definitely wrecks enemies, including armored bandits on TVHM and higher, can't tell how many times i've accidentally committed suicide using this grenade mod (even when wearing a Neogenator or Evolution).

Has anyone else experienced other accidental suicides too?

Regarding the title question: Everything kills the player much faster than it would an enemy, the Pandemic is no exception. The reason for this is because HP and shield values of the player are much lower than that of the enemy. Base HP at 72 is 530,564, which compared to a basic level 72 Maruader's 4.90 Million is not much. Armored enemies have even more HP, with a GUN Loader having 19.6 Million. So to balance out the players considerably lower HP, they have equipment that deals much more damage.

I think everyone has experienced an accidental suicide at some point with weapons that hurt the player as well as enemies, I don't use the pandemic that much, but I do know that I have killed myself 2 or 3 times while using the pandemic.

my preferred grenade mod is a 3-way tie between the Chain Lightning, Magic Missile, and a Sticky Homing Slag Transfusion. but the Pandemic is great in Loader-based areas, or even during the Bar Brawl in Pyro Pete's Bar (since the space is so enclosed, which kills enemies faster when grouped together)

Just use the storm front, it might not do as much damage but it's much less likely to kill you :P

In general all AoE(Vladof) grenades are really strong but unless you use a tesla/lightning damage one you'll risk killing yourself with them.

storm front is better pandemic have bug where u will not see cloude and u walk in it next moment u are on floor

can't remember if i've ever been downed by one. mind you, i do prefer the Longbow version.

After the initial explosion, three more homing grenades spawn ~ these will home in on enemies to touch them, transferring corrosive dmg & then seek out another target which maybe you ~ this process continues til the nades disappear.
