how good is the Jakobs Judge?
i've seen this pistol drop from Assassin Oney a few times, but never used it. So for those who did use it, what did you think of it?

It is alright, nothing spectacular though.
Slightly worse than a purple Iron on crit.

It is very much crit dependant but if you like Jakobs pistols and get it to drop early it can be a nice addition to your arsenal.

At endgame you're much better off using the Maggie, Greed or a purple Iron.

Not my favorite Jakobs pistol ~ that's still the Maggie hands-down. There are other good pistols I'd look at aside from Harold, Hornet & Tball Fists, there's the Rex (better than Judge), Lady Fist, Teapot, Gunerang, Devastator & Stalker, all can be useful guns.

i would never use it cz u need to stand in place and aim for head to get any solid dmg i personaly stay away from jacobs wepons
In my opnion I'm finding quite good Dahl manufacture but the pistol I'm using is React Dahiminator. But I use only for unstoppable targets or on last stand.

except the Jakobs Law is 100% accurate when zoomed-in. and when paired with the Order shield, it'll be a pretty good combination

Jakobs weapons can and do have many special effects but nowhere does it say that they can only kill or do serious damage by shooting humans or animals in the head ~ they can kill or do serious damage by shooting humans and animals in the heart. A good example of a typical Jakobs special effect is the pistol old man Jakobs designed for his wife the Maggie which essentially shoots a 6-projectile spread simultaeously (with decreased accuracy & dmg per projectile) at the cost of one bullet which results in pretty extreme damage per trigger pull. With Jakobs guns it can pay bigtime to try them out until you figure out each one works rather than settling on the written card text as gospel.:steamhappy: There's an important reason why many veteran BL series players prefer Jakobs.

All Jakobs guns have an increased critical ht modifier, it would be foolish not to take advantage of it if you ask me.

The only thing special about the Judge is even further inceased crit damage:

It is utterly pointless to use this gun if you're not going to shooi animals or humans in the head with it.

#Cyphre question for you: Can a Jakobs weapon harm a human or an animal other than in the head? I say they can simply cos since BL1 they've done so. And I know there were Jakobs advertisments quoting Montgomery Jakobs which included imprecise and general sales~type comments about shooting people in the head with Jakobs but I can't recall ever seeing anything that specifically says you must shoot your target's head in order to do damage to it.
