Is it worth grinding Wilhelm?

I heard Wilhelm can drop two legendaries so I started grinding him. With the teapot, a random slag gun, and a baby maker smg I can basically kill him in less than 30 seconds. However, at this point I’ve killed him at least 50 times and gotten entire inventories of crappy blues (mostly tediore pistols). Sometimes he doesn’t even drop anything and I haven’t gotten even a single purple. After killing him it takes me roughly another 3 minutes to run around collecting drops and ammo and resetting the map. Is it honestly worth all the trouble? I’ve gotten other legendaries like the Infinity, Mongol, Conference Call, etc after about 10 kills for their respective bosses. Have I just been really lucky up to this point?

Willhelm can drop the Logan's Gun - used with an absorb shield like the Sham, it can regenerate launcher ammo for you. Bit of a meh gun otherwise.

Willhelm spreads loot all over the place. Including over the edge. 50 runs without anything is really bad RNG.

Yea that’s what I thought. I heard he also drops a legendary Grenade mod. How good is it?

Like a lot of Torgue grenades - Bonus Package, Meteor Shower etc, this is powerful, but can kill you as well. Worth a try if you get one, but maybe not worth the farm.

its very smart to just pick up 1 low level logan gun for end game... for rockets restock.. witch is very expensive ammo later on but also u can do that wen u cant buy ammo

Yea I was also wondering this for Incinerator Clayton and Scorch. I was initially planning to grind for their legendaries as well, but running through frostbite canyon every time eventually got too tedious and I just gave up. At this point I’m like a good six levels above the level of the area. Is it still worth it to get the SMG and RL from them?

In UVHM only, because they always scale to you. The Hellfire is a very good smg, and the Pyrophobia is an interesting launcher. Unique behaviour, so interesting to try out.
Hyperius also drops Pyrophobia's regularly. You see a legendary launcher! A Norfleet! Yay! You rush up and find a Pyrophobia. Aww. Boo. Trolled again.

Any Spiker pistol will do the same. Which make the Logan's Gun even worse.

As long as it is a low level one. High level ones can kill you. Logan's Gun has a much higher fire rate, and a bigger magazine so has a much faster launcher regen. It is very good at that job and really not much use as a gun.

It will work for any character that has an absorb shield. It is not a very good weapon for killing enemies though.
