You are free to say whatever you want on the internet, but that does not absolve a person of how others will react to what you say. For an example, I could say "All Jews should die and its a pity the nazis failed." I am free to say that online, but it doesn't mean I am free from the waves that statement will make, similar to this recent racist rant. The backlash doesn't have to change the person's mind, but as a public figure, it can greatly damage your image. I also deeply disagree with your statement that the only "absurd reason you would care about it that much as to try and expose them online is to give them bad rep. Either because you're jealous of the other persons success or because you like being annoying and a general inconvenience" That can be said for almost anything in life. It's also not really exposing anything. Similar to his stance on Yot, the only person Luke can blame is himself in this situation; he wrote it. All they had to do was show people what he said and the words spoke for themselves. If it had never been written, there would be nothing to "expose" in the first place. As for Yot, I agree to that he caused his own fate however, I would never say a person "deserved to die" unless they truly did something terrible enough in life to merit it. It's the lack of empathy that I take issue with. It is a shame Yot made those choices which resulted in his own death, and he only has himself to blame, but that doesn't mean I should laugh and say he got what was coming to him. Which is exactly more or less how Luke views it.
My stance on him is not much different from what has happened to channel awesome on youtube. People won't watch it past the incident because the channel has left a bad taste in their mouths and smeared their own reputation. The content may be good, but its hard to support someone who clearly has views that many that are quite terrible. The quality of his content doesn't somehow erase that he called black people subhuman, which is pretty screwed up for anyone to say.
Anyway, it doesn't really matter, I'm just voicing my own opinion, and like Luke you have the freedom to disagree and not have your mind changed. Thus why I said if you enjoy his content, I am sorry for the lack of content.
