how do i download DLCs?

i bought GOTY edition of Borderlands 2, which has all of it DLCs, and i cannot use them.
It says, that i didn't installed those dlc pack (i tried installing them, and looking at forum, but I simply don't have an ability to download them, btw it tells me that I purchased)

Navigate to your game Properties on steam (right click on Borderlands 2 in your game list and properties should be at bottom of pop-up options). Look at the DLC tab and make sure the instal box is checked for each dlc. If that does not work come back and ppl will have more suggestions.
GOTY does have DLC but does not automatically install them ... in case you are short of storage, I suppose.
Edit Also worth noting that you enter DLCs when they are installed through the fast travel map. Look for Oasis in the top right of the map to start the first dlc.

I need to correct a bit. Just go to Steam library, click on Borderlands 2 and go the bottom. There is small box with DLCs. Tick them so tuey will downpafand install ( fastet and easier than going into properties :P )
Also GOTY DOES NOT have all DLCs. The ones which aren't included ( 5 headhunters and Vault Hunter Upgrade pack were released after GOTY )
What to in-game, previous speaker was right. You enter DLC via fast travel stations:
Oasis- Pirate's Booty DLC
Hunters Grotto- Hammerlock's big hunt game
I can't remind myself other 2 names of DLC Locations.

Interesting, on my Steam interface that is 'properties'.
Also, no one here said GOTY had all dlc. The important one it doesnt have is the UVHM upgrade. The main dlcs are best done in order first time through. Start with Oasis.

OK, there are three that will say not downloaded if you look at the broken in game DLC list. They don't download because they are in the base game, they are unlocked for use. If they had to be downloaded, then those who did not have them would not see the items in use on the one who do and uses them.

On my Steam interface I can just select it and look below achievements and see the DLC, I can right click the game and select view downloadable content or I can right click and select properties and then look at the downloadable content. If I right click and select view downloadable content, it displays the same thing as going the properties route.

Same problem for me. I bought Borderlands The handsome collection, and when i try to select the new skins in game, or the new locations (for Headhunters DLC) it redirect me to steam page (to buy it, even if it's already in my library).
Every options are on to download, so i don't know how to solve that.

Edit : exactly the same problem for Borderlands The presequel.

Do the same thing, make sure they are selected, then verify the game contents (right click the game, select properties, go to local files tab and click verify integrity of game files.

Nah, I miss things all the time, but I don't..... wait, I laugh at me all the time, carry on.
