New Glitch discovered???
Ok, so after I posted my screenshot of my Team Medic build for Maya, after several attempts at re-speccing for a perfect build, it was brought to my attention that the skill points used didn't seem normal.

Normally you'd end up with 67 skill points total, by the time one would reach Lvl-72. But as I said, I had re-specced several times at the customization station in Sanctuary, not knowing that I still had un-invested skill points leftover.

So apparently, re-speccing at customization stations while still having un-invested skill points somehow causes a glitch that enables the player to have more points than originally intended (my skill point counter went up from 67 to 73).

Even talked with one of my friends on here the other day, and he too encountered a similar glitch with re-speccing points at those same stations.

Has anyone else encountered something like this before???

I have a thing where if a get bOre from zero, shoot a gun and then quickly respect. i keep the bOre skill even with nothing in it

How ever it does seem to fade in and out, like sme times the Bore skill does something. other tiems it does not.
Lol, well now.....

at least i'm not the only one going nuts with random glitches like this happening.

If you end up with 'extra' skill points for whatever reason, go to the quick change station for a respec.
Do not allocate any points
Save / quit and restart.
The game sanity checker should correct the number of skill points. Allocate skill points and carry on.
Probably a good idea to only have the vanilla game - no UCP, mods etc when you do this.

except I never installed the UCP or any mods, as I feel uncomfortable messing around with files (which could potentially screw up my game and/or computer if I don't know what i'm doing)

Fair enough. Try the respec and reload and see if that fixes to problem.

just tried it and it worked. the skill point count went back down to a normal 68 points, instead of the abnormal 73

I had a really weird glitch in BL1 once. There's this hole in Rust Commons East you can fall down, and get off map, and fall to a very slow death. Well, I did this once, and respawned side ways, and I couldn't move. Apparently, I was just sitting there spinning. I was playing with a friend, and we fast traveled to a different map (Arid Badlands).

Upon spawning there, I could move as normal, so I thought the bug was gone. I was running around Fyrestone, and went to go fight Bonehead (never know when that Savior's gonna drop, eh?). Well, I noticed I wasn't taking much damage, so, I ran right up to Bonehead, and I walked right through him. I tested this on other bandits, and my friend, and I walked right through them all. I guess the collision of my playermodel was bugged out?

I could pretty much walk though everything, bearing some walls. I went to Krom's Canyon, and was able to fall off the canyon without dying right away. It was so damn weird. The bug finally fixed itself when I entered a car in Salt Flats.

will do man, thanx!!! Although, I do have to admit, that I did get a big kick out of using the "Scorn" perk as a backup slagging method (its long cooldown is what holds it back from being perfect)
