Best way to playthrough
I'm looking for a guide that shows exactly how you should set up playing through the main quests, side quests and DLC's so that everything is as level appropriate as possible. My first playthrough I had over level'd the dlc's so much they were pointless. I did the dlc first in TVHM and then the main quest was so low level it was boring. Any help?

Thank you for reading.

That is really just a list of all the missions. That's not what I'm looking for. That doesn't tell me when I should start what dlc to be level appropriate or when to head back to the main game to do side quests or anything else I asked for in the original question, but thanks for replying.

Just don't bother with the DLC's in normal mode. As you have found out, you become over leveled and the loot is basically useless because it isn't.
Normal mode, do some selected side missions - The Good, the Bad and the Mordecai, so you can try for Lyudas and Verucs. Rakkaholics Anonymous for the Rubi, and so on. You will not be able to complete every mission without getting well over 30.

I start the DLC's in TVHM. Tiny Tina's for the various 'magic' grenades, class mods etc. Torgue for Tokens. Again, you will not be able to complete all of them without becoming over-leveled. It is more important to avoid that in TVHM, because you really do not want to be much higher than 50 when you start the 3rd playthrough, UVHM, because the enemies always scale to you, while the TVHM gear is capped at level 50. You will have a very hard time of it if you start UVHM late.

UVHM is probably the best time to do the DLC's as you do not need to worry about levels.

Thank you! I wonder if there is a list somewhere of the side quests worth doing past the ones you've mentioned.
