How to kill Pete the Invincible?

No matter what I do, he just doesn't want to give up, making me give up already. I even tried the glitch spots whereas he can't try to jump to you, but he still does and I still get hit from his fire nova. It forces me to use one of the sewers to distinguish the fire with water, but stronger enemies summon and I can't kill them, resulting me in dying.

Level 72 Commando OP8

Gear:
-Dahl Veruc (shock)
-Maliwan Storm (shock)
-Torgue Harold
-The Bee Shield
-Legendary Solider class mod

I'm confident that this gear set-up looks viable, but I run out of ammo quickly. Any tips to beat this dude?

Try to get tresspaser to get Petes helmet off. then go to the glitch thing, make sure when he does the nova thing u dont see him at all or else it will affect u.
Slagging him would be helpful ( why wouldnt it )

Ah damn. Too bad I don't have the Trespasser because that was a sniper rifle I sold a long time from the quest Animal Rights and there's no way I can get it back. :c

Then again, fml that I can't receive those weapons too because I already completed the quests and then sold them because they were outaken as I progressed on with higher level weapons than them. :c

u can get them in previous modes. ( normal, TVHM ) the buff will still be there. like rapier 200% melee damage.

Cool! This might give me a chance. I was going to try using this save editor called Gibbed, but then there are people that's gunna say it's cheating.

Shock Fibbers can take his shields down very quickly. Any Trespasser will do, because all you are doing with it is to shoot him in the face once, which will pop his helmet off so you can score crits even when his shields are up.
As far as the water showers go, don't use #2. That spawns in sewer rats, who have guns.

just get shock flyng sandhawk scock bone of ancients and just hang near cover its really super easy fight and i like to have shock topnea if nova catch u open -1- spiders pop out topnea get rid of them...and keep fight

Nah, Storm and Veruc are not powerful enough for this fight. Only Sandhawk, maybe Pimp or the like. Make sure you have shock Bone of The Ancients, too. Powerful launcher for second winds.

If you don't have those weapons... reset UVHM or use Gibbed. No idea how did you get to OP8 without full loot set, anyway.

Might as well use Gibbed then just to get those weapons because I guess it saves time.

Easy for you, but not for everyone. Even if I'm max level, I still don't have the right gear to demolish, which I kind of learned my lesson on by using Gibbed to get those weapons.

Hyperious has to be the most annoying. Facing him for the first time... Needed help to take that guy down, which I did.
