or else we'll be able to buy the "Super Deluxe Edition" (e.g. all downloadable content) for a 75% discount on Steam by September that's wot
No official statement, but I think it comes March/April. The Shiftcodes for BL3 can be activated for Epic or for Steam.
Right, that's what Sweeney does.
See, he paid a lot for that Exclusive, and it's about to run out, so he's frantically trying to recoup at least SOME of the money he spent to lock that down. I think that's frequently a good indicator that he didn't make back his original investment and actually ended up losing money on the deal.
There's a reason why many of us have decided to wait this long for the Steam release. To show that Epic Games shouldn't just throw money at a problem and hope to get an edge on Steam. That's just plain bribery.
Yep, that one looks like it might be fun.
Sorry to burst your bubble but that game is about transhumanism not transvestism. Sorry. Better cancel your pre-order.
That's one I am waiting for. Slightly annoyed by the delay until September, but if that means a more playable, stable and bug free game at release, that is fine by me. I don't pre-order on general principles so I haven't bought it yet, but that will be bought at the first opportunity when it is released, and then it might be fun to watch to see if Steam's servers can cope when everyone else gets in on the act. :)
Also at some point this year (hopefully) there is Serious Sam : Planet Badass. Now that should be quite something. The game's battlefield is supposed to be 128Km x 128Km. In BL terms, the entire game maps of all franchise games will be able to fit in an out of the way corner somewhere.
Old school it is moving and wants to kill you, so ya better shoot it. If you don't, you will be made dead very quickly. The demo on the Steam page is also an indication of what their game engine is capable of. And, one of the vehicles is supposed to be a combine harvester. All those spinny blades. All those enemies...
CP2077 and Sam 4 both come from developers who will release 'When it is done' and not when marketing says so. For something that doesn't fall into this category, see BL3. Barely game tested from the looks of it, with so many nerfs, buffs, hotfixes and patches etc. The latest pile of these gives you a whole extra 3 levels to the game cap. Only three? you ask. Any more than that might break the character skill trees apparently. Such well designed and thought out trees they must be. Level 60? Level 70? Level 80 and 10 OP levels? I suspect not somehow. Not unless they re-do the skill trees in a major way that doesn't turn all 4 characters into something even more broken than Salvador. And yet, they have said that instead of making 2 extra characters, they will be doing something about adding an extra skill tree. So well designed and thought out, and totally not inventing stuff as we go along. Ooh look! Shiny new trinkets! (Don't ask about why the game is behaving strangely after the latest 'fixes'.) Shiny! Yeah, concentrate on the sheer shininess of the new trinket.
Me and BL3? When it is complete and in at least a 75% off sale on Steam I suspect.
Thanks! Never heard of this till now.

That looks brilliant.
